Repoquad Investments Pvt Ltd conducts its business in one of the regions worst affected by the global onslaught of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Over and above our commitment to protecting and promoting the overall health of our employees, Repoquad Investments Pvt Ltd is committed, in particular, to specific actions and programs in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
We therefore commit ourselves where relevant:
- Develop education and communication programs for the benefit of employees, covering the risk of, and the preventative measures relevant to the spread of HIV/AIDS. Our intention shall be to ensure staff awareness of the causes, consequences and prevention of the disease to adequately protect themselves and others. Where appropriate this will be managed in collaboration with the wider community and related initiatives.
- Learn and deploy best practice, both from within and outside Repoquad Investments Pvt Ltd in order to mitigate the impacts of HIV/AIDS upon our people and business.
- Encourage our employees to access Voluntary Counselling and Testing Facilities made available by HIV/AIDS organizations.
- Mcct or exceed requirements of national legislation on HIV/AIDS.
Testing for HIV shall not be done as a precondition for employment or routinely on staff. Employees with HIV/AIDS shall also work freely in a non-discriminatory environment.
